Pa S.G. Elton was a missionary who left the comfort of his home in
England in March 1937 to labour for revival in Nigeria. He settled in Ilesha
and lived there until he passed on to glory 50 years later. Many young people were discipled into Christ through Pa Elton's
ministry and he became known as the father of the large Pentecostal community
in Nigeria. He was a true Witness of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Lord - Make us true witnesses.

“That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we
have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled,
of the Word of life; (For the life was manifested, and we
have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life,
which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) That
which we have seen and heard declare we unto you…”
Establish it in me that I must see THE LIFE before BEARING WITNESS.
Open my eyes to see Jesus; open my ears to hear Jesus.

believed among us, Even as they delivered them unto us, which from

wherein thou hast been instructed.”

Help me to know that situations around me are to give me
opportunities to experience the Word of life.

Grant deeper revelation knowledge of what took place in the Garden
of Eden and also on the cross of Christ.
Help me to know that my deliverance from the flesh is not through
head knowledge but through living by the Word.
Lord - I will not assume passively that Christ’s death is mine
without confronting disorder in my life.
Help me to know the certainty of those things I have been
instructed and make me a TRUE WITNESS.
